Unfortunately there is no automatic reconnect function, so you will need to rescan manually. I'm sorry!
We have already received this feature request in the past. Unfortunately I cannot say when and if this is going to be implemented as it is not as easy as it might sound.

Hi Dean, Welcome to the MADRIX Forum! The longer load time is most likely caused by the required downscaling of the video. The video has a full HD resolution, but your actual DVI patch is 416x624.
