No MADRIX 5 key

Greetings friend, I had my assistant upgrade the software from 3 to 5, I thought it was an easy task for him, I didn't check his work, I just assumed it would be click, click done. I don't think he backed up the madrix3 files before moving to 5. I am not entirely sure of what he did, but now when I open the software it says no MADRIX 5 key.
I have tried to register my dongle to 5, but I'm having trouble. It asks for my ticket number when I try to register, I don't know what my ticket number is, I tried the serial number from the the back of the CD case, but that didn't work, and now I can't use the software. Help me please, my client won't be happy with me if the lights aren't twinkling. What do I need to do to fix this.
