How to external Master Fader

Hello together,

Upfront thanks for your time reading this thread :)

The Setup:
I am working as a technician for a small company which is selling workshops for tax people. Since the start of this year our focus was on expending and improving our video productions and right now we're on building a, let's call it, Live Studio. We already built a greenbox studio in march which lays next door to the Live Studio and the lighting is connected via DMX. Right now the "normal" studio lighting for both studios is controlled by a LSC Mantra Lite and we have about 16 simple fixtures with 36 CH used in total. In addition we control an EUROLITE RGB LED Pixel Strip via a MADRIX NEBULA and the MADRIX 5 Software with round about 220 Pixels (U1: 1-510; U2: 1-136). (if you need an exact patch list please tell me)

The Question:
My experience with MADRIX is quite small to be fair, but wouldn't it be possible to have like a "master"-fader on the LSC MANTRA Lite for controlling the Pixelstrip with MADRIX 5 Software via Artnet?
In the end my goal is to include the Pixel Strip in intro/outro cues for the videos, where it just fades in/out together with the rest of the studio lighting. Then i would need the MADRIX Master dim as a fixture on the LSC Mantra imo and i don't know how to do this. My working PC has an extra network card for the specific ARTnet submask, but if you need any lists/references of this please tell me.

Greetings,
Frank

Hello Frank,

You can easily control the MADRIX software remotely via Art-Net. MADRIX offers different predefined remote control protocols respectively personalities which are also implemeted in a lot of Ligthing Consoles. Furthermore it is possible to create your own or modify an existing personality.

Of course the MADRIX PC and the "LSC Mantra" needs to work in the same network and IP address range.

Under the following links you can find some more infromation how to control MADRIX remotely:
