LAYER OPACITY KEEPING THE LAST FRAME -WHEN TURNING IT DOWN TO ZERO THEN BACK UP AGAIN .

CERTAIN EFFECTS - WHEN USING LAYER OPACITY .IF YOU PUT THE LAYER OPACITY DOWN TO 0 . THE NEXT TIME YOU PUT IT UP AGAIN IT SHOWS ONLY FOR A SPLIT SECOND , THE LAST POSITION IT WAS IN BEFORE YOU PUT IT TO ZERO .THE EFFECT ONLY SHOWS QUICKLY IN THAT POSITION .BUT IT IS NOT VERY SMOOTH.

I TRIED A FEW EXPERIMENTS AND IT SEEMS TO DO IT WITH A LOT OF EFFECTS SCE SCROLL, FIRE ,METABALLS . ALSO TRIED IT WITH COLOUR - SO YOU TURN THE OPACITY DOWN TO 0 THEN CHANGE THE COLOUR IN THE COLOR TABLE , THEN PUT OPACITY BACK UP AND YOU GET A FLASH OF THE PREVIOUS COLOUR .

IT IS EASIER TO SEE WITH THE SPEED TURNED RIGHT DOWN.

I KNOW THAT I COULD USE THE SUBMASTER TO TURN THE EFFECT RIGHT DOWN TO ZERO BUT I AM GETTING GOOD RESULTS WITH THE OPACITY FOR MY PROJECT SO IF IT'S AN EASY FIX IT WOULD BE GREAT .

Thank you for this report.
I can reproduce this behavior so we will see what we can do to change it.
