Re: How can I attach 7 USB-DMX interfaces (+ USB dongle) to
Yes, it does!
And... Is it true, that I could assign any pair (UniverseNumber + ChannelNumber) to each pixel in the Matrix? (I mean here "pixel" as 1/3 of RGB-lamp, the Matrix consists of such RGB-lamps).

Re: How can I attach 7 USB-DMX interfaces (+ USB dongle) to
Thank you. But I have a further questions...
1. Is it true, 2 x USB-ports and 2 x 4-ports HUBs are good too? (By my mind, there are many 4-ports, but 8-ports are rare.)
2. What about adressing? How would I and PC determine it among several USB interfaces?

greglee, I do not understand.
Is your lighting system already complete and running with existent software in Arduino, or you are looking for / must write it?

Yes, I see. My words about software were exclusively theoretical and abstract. I have no such a software or real information about existence of it...mungle wrote:About software....I have no ideas Bichuch!

Re: 50 Led Pixel ws2801, MADRIX and an Arduino
Hello, mungle! (For your information: my knowledges about Madrix, Arduino, WS2801-based pixels, DMX, etc... are only theoretical, based on the Internet exclusively.) Madrix is an application for PC and can drive SmartPixels (i.e. devices with one special IC per one or two RGB-LED and serial interfac...

Re: Is it possible to control 4 screens by 1 PC ?
But ! You have no independent timeline for changing effects, because all three layer (screens) are on one Storage Place which will change at once. Are "Storage Place" and "Virtual screen" synonyms? If it is so, I suppose to have some (3 or more) logically parallel threads in scr...
