Artnet setup / output checkbox disabled

Hi,

I'm setting up madrix for the first time with an artnet controller. The controller is connected, and recognized by the software, but when I go to configure / enable it, I can not select the 'output' check box. It only allows me to configure it as a input. I have this wired over ethernet and it is recognized by madrix and has an IP address etc. It was found in the auto scan. I just can't setup the output option as the checkbox is disabled / greyed out.

Does anyone know what could be causing this or how to fix it so I can assign the output port?

Welcome to the MADRIX forum.

It sounds like you have selected the Art-Net Remote Port in the "DMX Devices" tab of the MADRIX "Device Manager".
When you select a port of your Art-Net interface it is set to output by default and you can change the DMX universe.
