Keep the sizes of effect layer when changing the Patch size

I am not sure this is a bug or someone has ask the same question before, but I do have a lot of user feedback asking MADRIX to implement this:
Keep the size of each effects layer (the X & Y) when the Patch Size is changing because adding more LED fixture later. This would save enormous time to adjust all the Sizes of every effect layer.
Hope you know what I mean.

yes we know what you mean and i think it is the second request we get for this.

What i can tell you it is not a bug.
It is a feature by design.
The idea behind this is, if you have developed a MADRIX Setup today you can use the same MADRIX Setup for the next show even if the patch size is different with different fixtures because MADRIX scales all the effects automaticaly.

The situation you (your customer) describe is different and we agree that for this situation it would be usefully if MADRIX keeps the pixel positions and sizes of the effect layers.

So this is a feature request we get onto the list and which we like to implement in the future.
