dmx in question for new setup
Hey i just picked up a madrix plexus to run 14 Chauvet led pix bars for my stage setup.
My question is i would like to use the dmx in function to trigger cues for the led bars on the back wall, as i have many other lights i still need a normal dmx setup to run that.
What is compatible with madrix for dmx input, or can i use anything. Does it have to be software based or can i use a console to output dmx to a port on the plexus?

some questions, did you run the led pix bars with the MADRIX Plexus in the stand alone mode or by the MADRIX software thru the Plexus?

How many DMX Ports of the Plexus you need to run the 14 Chauvet fixtures?
