Madrix 3.3a hangs when opening setup

I have experienced regular freezes of Madrix 3.3a under the following conditions:

1. Loaded a Setup using 32 Universes
2. Use the setup for a while
3. Open a setup containing 4 Universes (different than the ones before)
4. Madrix shows the Dialog confirming what to load (all boxes selected)
5. Madrix shows the "Open Setup" Spinner and get's stuck.

The only way to get out of this mode is to use the Windows Task Manager to end Madrix. If I exit Madrix and load either of the setups, everything works fine.

UPDATE: This issue could be quickly resolved by MADRIX support by saving the Setup files anew on a different system.
