Under the following link you can learn how to create a patch for such a kinectic system:

To create the desired effect you could use for instance two SCE Gradient effects on two different Storage places. Both gradients have only 2 colors (red and black) and are mapped to the winches area. The direction of one gradient is from left to right and the other one is from right to left. When you now fade between the two storage places you will get the desired effect as result.
