controlling non-led effects
How can I manually send a DMX message on a given storage place, for non LED effects such as a strobe or fog. The script editor?
In my case i'm running a matrix of chauvet freedom stocks, and the effects all work great.
However on some storage places I'd also like to engage a pair of chauvet shocker panel in 2-ch mode on DMX 1 as well. How is this done?
Thx!

Hi wess2death,
Welcome to the MADRIX forum.
MADRIX is designed for controlling only the color channels of LEDs, therefore controlling non-color channels is not the normal field of operation for MADRIX. All other channels will be set to fixed DMX value.
Nevertheless an option would be to use the "DMX Fader Tool" (especially for controlling fog machines), where you can send DMX values to a certain universe and channel. The "DMX Fader Tool" is available via "Tools" > "DMX Fader Tool...".
More information about the "DMX Fader Tool" is available here: http://help.madrix.com/m5/html/madrix/h ... der%2Btool
Have a nice day.
