SMPTE Time Code Starting a Cue List

Post by Affintiy01 »

I am wondering if its possible for Madrix to jump to the correct spot in a cue list once it receives the SMTPE Time code from the source. Reason I am asking is because I am going to have a computer boot upon AC detection, load Madrix once it boots, then load a specified que list once its up and running. This cue list would need to be triggered with the sources time which I was hoping to accomplish by using the Madrix I/O device and the sources.
Thoughts and suggestions.

Hi Affintiy01,

Yes, MADRIX USB SMPTE allows you to trigger the MADRIX "Cue List" via "SMPTE Time Code".

After you selected the right "Time Code source" (SMPTE), MADRIX will automatically start receiving external Time Code.

Just set a Time Code for a Cue in the MADRIX Cue List, once MADRIX recieves this specific SMPTE Time Code the Cue will be triggered.

More information about MADRIX USB SMPTE is available via:

I hope this helps you.

Have a nice day.
