Re: SCE Video

Hi Nicolas delight, Please send us the video to info[at]madrix[dot]com. There is not really a preferred codec for MADRIX 5. What happens if you convert the video into the *.mrec format? This can be done via "Tools" > "Record Editing" > "MREC Conversion". Thanks in advan...

Re: Controlling the Aura via DMX like Madrix 5?

Hi Avocado, -In Madrix5, create a bunch of Cues with the looks and fade types/times that I am likely going to need. - Yes, for example you can create a Cue List in MADRIX 5 and record the complete Cue List (one large record with all the Cues) or you can record each Cue individually (one record for e...

Re: Controlling the Aura via DMX like Madrix 5?

Re: Live record to timeline using dmx?

Hi Avocado, If you start the record in the Timeline and you switch Storage Places in MADRIX 5 remotely, the effects are being recorded, but you won't see the arrangement in the timeline. "Making markers and dragging in looks sounds like I am not using the console at all and just using the softw...

Re: Live record to timeline using dmx?

Hi Avocado, The workflow you try to apply only partly works. The effects will be recorded, but the Timeline view will not be populated. I recommend to load the audio track in the timeline, play back the track and then create markers in the timeline using the "m" key shortcut. Now you can a...

Hi thomasJ,

MADRIX 5 is Windows-only. It requires a native Windows 10 or 11 (64 bit only) operating system.

Re: Best way to trigger S2L / M2L Storage Place With Sound

Hi Lysergix2555, Sometimes they use ask for udp commands for timeline triggers. - Which kind of UDP protocol? Art-Net, sACN and OSC relies on UDP communication. I am wondering since osc is udp based, i am wondering that maybe I can begin using osc commands for these types of triggers? - Yes, it is U...
